The Reference department is situated on the first floor at the front of the Central Library on the Grand Parade. It holds material on Business; Tourism; Health; Consumer affairs; Careers; History & archaeology; Literature; . . . and much more.Everyone is welcome to use our reference, information, and research services. The reference library is a free public space in which the visitor can read and browse books, newspapers and periodicals. We assist with student projects for all ages and all levels. Simple enquiries, such as help with locating a telephone number or address, are also satisfied. The department can also seek information from other institutions on your behalf. The service is free except for photocopying and printing charges. Library membership is not required. The Reference Library is open Monday-Saturday from 10.00a.m.-5.30p.m.
