Book Clubs in Cork
One of the most surprising, but very welcome, developments of recent years is the interest in book clubs. Reading is usually a solitary pleasure, but the urge to share what one has read, to discuss why an author has gone done one road in a story rather than another, to see what others think of what you like and dislike, has seen book clubs springing up all over Ireland and many other countries.

As well as book clubs based in our libraries, we would welcome involvement by the many book clubs throughout the city, whether you meet in your own homes, in a pub, or wherever.
