I am David by Anne Holmi_am_david

This is a story about a young boy's epic journey across Europe. David is a 12-year-old boy. He has lived all his life in a concentration camp. One day without explanation a guard arranged for him to escape. He is told to head south to Salonica, stow away on a ship sailing to Italy and then keep going north to a county called Denmark. Of all the people he meets on this long journey he is unable to trust anyone. David's story is a reflection of all the terrible persecution that happened during the Second World War.
