This is a story about a young boy's epic journey across Europe. David is a 12-year-old boy. He has lived all his life in a concentration camp. One day without explanation a guard arranged for him to escape. He is told to head south to Salonica, stow away on a ship sailing to Italy and then keep going north to a county called Denmark. Of all the people he meets on this long journey he is unable to trust anyone. David's story is a reflection of all the terrible persecution that happened during the Second World War.

To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Leemocking_bird

Atticus Finch an attorney decides on principal to defend him, but the bigoted townsfolk would rather lynch the accused than try him. This emotive tale highlights the injustice of the American legal system at the time, which centres on the theme of racial discrimination.
