Kids Services

Blackpool Children's Library is located on the second floor.  It is wheelchair accessible and toilet and baby-changing facilities are available.

Book Stock
Like our adult library, Blackpool Children's Library has a wide vareity of both fiction and nonfiction books, C.D.'s, DVD's and audibooks(talking books).  With a stock of 14,971 items, every child is sure to find the perfect book.  We regularly add new items to our stock and we welcome suggetions from our young borrowers.  Pauline is our full-time library assistant dedicated to the children's library, and she will be happy to help you select your books and answer any other queries you may have.

Magazines
We currently stock Match Magazine and Where's Wally Magazines.

Computer Facilities
Blackpool Children's Library has two P.C.'s available for public use.  Microsoft Office 2007, internet access and printing facilities are available on all P.C.'s.   Charges apply to all printing.  Children may use P.C.'s for project work free of charge for one hour per day, otherwise charges apply.  Please see here for more information.
