Clubs & Groups

Blackpool Library has two Community Rooms that can be used by local groups and clubs. The rooms need to be booked in advance and are available to non-profit making groups during our normal working hours, Tuesday - Saturday 10a.m. - 12.30p.m. & 2p.m. - 5.00p.m. If you would like to enquire about the suitability of your group for use of this service please contact Mary Corcoran at Blackpool Library on 021-4924933.

In Stitches - Craft Group

Blackpool Library's newest craft group, In Stitches, meets every Thursday at 10.00a.m.  All levels are welcome

Tuesday Acting Group

The Tuesday Acting Group meets every Tuesday at 11.00a.m.  All are welcome and no experience is necessary. 

Table Top Wargaming

This group meets twice per month.  This month's meetings will take place on Saturday 4th February and Saturday 18th February at 2.00p.m.  All Welcome

Irish Conversation Group

Starting on Thursday 15th September, Cúinne na Gaeilge will meet every third Thursday of the month at 11.00am.  All levels are welcome.

Wednesday Writers Group

This group meets every Wednesday at 11.00a.m.  All Welcome

La Leche Breastfeeding Support Group

This group meets every third Saturday of the month at 10.00am.  Although primarily focused on supporting mothers who choose to breastfeed beyond infancy, all nursing mothers are welcome.

Book Club 

Blackpool Library Book Club meets at 2.30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month from September to May. There is no charge and new members are welcome.
