Cork City Libraries are open for borrowing. Maximum numbers apply, and there is no access to loose or unbound newspapers. Face coverings are mandatory in all branches of Cork City Libraries.

Priority hour for elderly or at risk patrons is 10 am – 11 am.

Douglas pop-up remains closed.

Before you visit, please read our Covid-19 Page for full information on our Covid-19 measures.

We ask that you do not borrow from the library if you or someone in your household has symptoms of Covid-19. If you have library items at home, and then you or a household member develop symptoms, please do not return your items until you have completed a 14 day isolation period and are fever free for the last 5 days. You can renew your items on the phone or online.

Under 12s must be supervised at all times. As maximum numbers will apply we ask that you limit your visit to a quick visit.
