Next Thursday, 13 September, Ormonde D.P. Waters will give a talk entitled "From Fremantle to freedom: the Catalpa Rescue" at the City Library, Grand Parade at 1.30p.m.
The Catalpa Rescue was the escape, in 1876, of six Irish Fenian prisoners from what was then the British penal colony of Western Australia.
Admission is free and all are welcome
