The One Book One Community project
One Book One Community is a community reading project bringing together families, schools, libraries and reading organisations in the northside of Cork. The book we have chosen this year is The Butterfly Lion by Michael Morpurgo. The book will be available to families through the participating schools. There will be events based on the book in the participating schools, libraries and in the community.
The project was launched on 6th November at 11.00 a.m. in Terence MacSwiney Community College with special guest Seán Óg Ó hAilpín. Look out for events in your community from November through to Easter.
