Book Club

A book club has been meeting in Mayfield since 1994. Members meet once a month to discuss books and writers. Occasionally the members organize activities and excursions around a literary theme. The meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month, beginning at 11.00 a.m. Membership is free and new members are welcome.

Ciorcal Cainte

Ciorcal Cainte meet on the first and third friday of each month at 11.00 a.m. You are welcome to come along to use your cúpla focal and learn some more. Fáilte roimh gach éinne.

Junior Chess Club

The Frank O'Connor Library junior chess club meet every Wednesday at 3.30 p.m. Players of all skill levels including  beginners welcome.
