A Brief Biography of Mis-Hap:
A Long, Long Time Ago! ('06 to be exact) In A Village Far, Far Away (Carrig na bhFear also to be exact) in a school called Colaiste an Croi Naofa, Sacred Heart Collage as a group of four young boys began dreaming up the idea of starting a super group well a band.
With very similar taste in music it was a match made in heaven.
The Band members include Jack Ahern the Lead vocalist/ guitarist and electrifying front man.
Jonny Murphy the second Guitarist / Backing vocalist and an eye catching performer pulling shapes and stances.
Our Driving bass player Sam O Leary walking up and down the fret board with an air of cool.
Finally Patrick Hendrick the drummer / Backing vocalist rolling around toms and using class with every beet.
Together we make up Mis-hap!
We have been a band for a little over a year and a half now, and have a very tight sound, with a lot of stage experience and performances behind us. This has been gained from Playing a many gigs as we can fit in such as Mitchelstown Indie – pendance Festival in 2007 & will appear again in 2008, 2FM gig mixing with the members of the Coronas, Jono Falls, Republic of Loose & Ham Sandwich. We also have played at many Battle of the band competitions , where we always came away leaving the crowd wanting more.
Mishap have recently appeared on the Green room on 96FM as a result of winning a song writing and performing competition which we won and were interviewed and to perform one of our songs live on air to great response from our loyal support and general public
We also have got press coverage which referred to our performance as ‘’A Power packed Performance ‘’.
Our Style of Music is very wide and broad and we draw inspiration for our songs from across the music spectrum. We have no fixed style as all our songs / music is different and all enjoy playing all styles of music.

At this moment in time all of us are still attending school as students, tax evaders, and a menace to society but hoping to become a full time band in the future!! That super group.
