The Reference department is situated on the middle floor at the front of the Central Library on the Grand Parade. It holds material on business, tourism, health, consumer affairs, careers, history & archaeology, literature, and much more. Everyone is welcome to use our reference, information, and research services.
The reference library is a free public space in which the visitor can read and browse books, newspapers, and periodicals. We assist with student projects for all ages and all levels. Simple enquiries, such as help with locating a telephone number or an address, are also satisfied. The department can seek information from other institutions on your behalf. The service is free except for photocopying and printing charges. Library membership is not required. For more information on particular aspects of our reference services, select the appropriate link on the left. You may also download our Reference Brochure
The Reference Library is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10.00a.m. to 5.30p.m.
