Irish Newspaper Archive is the world's largest online database of Irish Newspapers from which it is possible to search, retrieve and view Ireland's past in the exact format it was published. It is free to use in the Reference and Local Studies Departments, Grand Parade. http://wwwirishnewsarchive.com.

Irish Times digital archive -  The archive contains the entire Irish Times from its first edition in 1859 to the present.  www.askaboutireland.com 

Irish University Review Online - aims to foster and publish the best scholarly research and critical debate in Irish literary and cultural studies. Irish University Review Online 

JSTOR  —   An online archive of academic journals and other scholarly content. Cork City Libraries provides free in-house access to JSTOR's Ireland Collection of almost 100 journals within JSTOR.
