Constant Readers on Tour

On 8th March, 22 of Cork City Libraries constant readers travelled to Ennis to attend the Ennis Book Club Festival. Highlights of the day were Kevin Myers and Maria Dickenson presenting 10 Books You Should Read, and readings from writers such as Gerry Stembridge, Anna Heussaff, Gerard Donovan, Micheal O’Siadhial, Rita Ann Higgins, Peter Cunningham and Eddie Linehan.
The readers even found time to take in a chocolate tasting.
The evening was completed with the key note event ‘An Audience with Salley Vickers and John Boyne’ expertly hosted by Rachael English.
This was the second year that a delegation from Cork City Libraries’ book clubs attended the Ennis Book Club Festival and it was enjoyed by everyone.
