Welcome | Fáilte
We welcome readers back inside our libraries for borrowing. Some services are still not available in our libraries at the moment due to hygiene and social distance rules, including no printing, photocopying or public computers.
Before you visit, please read our COVID-19 Page for full information.
Due to social distancing, Blarney Library will continue operate a Phone, Collect, Return service only.
Please note that the Reference Library and Local Studies are still operating a phone and email service only.
Douglas pop-up is closed.
Priority hour for elderly or at risk patrons is 10 am – 11 am.
Under 12s must be supervised at all times. As maximum numbers will apply we ask that you limit your visit to a quick visit.
We wish to inform you that the newspaper groups who own the Irish Examiner, Irish Independent and Sunday Independent have withdrawn them from free access on PressReader. We apologise for this, and will let you know if the situation changes.
Please continue to use our online services. This is safer for our staff and for you.
You can borrow eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, listen to music, watch films, take an online course, all free with your library card. Those with an interest in history can browse Cork Past and Present, or our Interactive Timeline 1918 to 1923, or browse our online exhibitions.
