Compost Talk & Seed Library Launch with Soil Savers

Discover the magic of composting! Join the Soil Savers project for a fun and informative composting talk at the City Library on Saturday the 9th of August at 11am. We will also be launching our brand-new Seed Library, a gateway to growing and sharing seeds with the community. All are welcome to attend. Soil Savers is an urban composting project based on TEST SITE in Cork city. They make compost and figure out zero-waste solutions for urban settings, challenging the notion of waste as we go. Composting reduces carbon emissions, improves soil health, and diverts food scraps from the bin and landfill. Soil Savers is for those with a fondness for organic matter: a hands-on, mucky affair for the compost curious to meet and learn together.
