Under Level 5 restrictions, our libraries are closed. We are continuing to offer e-services including e-books and e-audiobooks, graphic novels, online newspapers, magazines, comics, learning courses, and online events and workshops. Please visit our online page for more.

All memberships due to expire in the coming weeks have been extended until 1 April 2021. All items due back have been renewed until 12 January 2021. There are no fines.


We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tina Pisco as Writer-in-Residence at Cork City Libraries. This is the first Writer-in-Residence for Cork City Libraries.

Tina will engage communities on climate change and sustainability through writing. This appointment is funded by Creative Ireland and will run until May 2021.
