Jim Williamson presents a session of reminiscence, recitation, and song inspired by his grandfather- “Bernard Fleming, mechanic, chauffeur, tenor, teacher, well-beloved. Essentially, what I noticed was, that each time I thought about him, a new composition painted a picture of the same man from a different perspective in my mind. As if there were many different cameras on his life. A different part of his character was therefore reflected within each of my compositions, whether prose, poetry or song. Grandfather was a man who wore many hats, or in his case caps”. (Lifelong Learning Festival event)
