Sean O'Mahony

Join Cork musician and songwriter Sean O'Mahony for a special performance celebrating a lifetime immersed in folk and traditional music. Based in Newcestown, Bandon, Sean has performed throughout Cork, Ireland and Europe with groups including The Potbelly Folk Band and The Poachers. This concert will feature original songs spanning five decades of songwriting, from compositions written in 1976 to a brand-new song completed in 2026, 'Katie's Lane'. Sean is a founding member of both Comhaltas Baile Nuis and Cork Songwriters. He will be joined by Eoin O'Mahony on banjo and backing vocals. All welcome.
