Bishopstown Library has been serving the south west ward since 2006. It is one of the largest of the local libraries in the city.

Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday 10.00 am - 5.30 pm | Thursday until 8.00 pm (September to June) 

Exception: Bishopstown Library does not open until 10.30 am on the first Wednesday of each month

Bishopstown Library includes three multi-purpose areas — a group study & meeting room; an exhibition room; and a children's multi-purpose room. Each one can be adapted for a variety of community-based and library-event purposes and all are used extensively.
