The Deco is in the Detail - Talk and Short Walking Tour

The Deco is in the Detail – A public talk and short walking tour celebrating 100 years of Art Deco in Cork City. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH) in collaboration with the Conservation Section of Cork City Council celebrate 100 years of Art Deco architecture in Cork City with a short talk by Tom Spalding, author of ‘A Guide to Cork City’s 20th-Century Buildings: An Architectural and Social History, 1900-2000’ and ‘Designed for Life: Architecture and design in Cork City 1900-90’. The talk will be followed by a short walking tour of key sites on Grand Parade and St. Patrick's Street.
