The Poet’s Library with Anton Floyd

Anton will divulge the origins, influences, and the skills that make one of his poems impactful. Old Hands and New Eyes will enjoy this opportunity. Anton Floyd was born in Cairo, worked in the Eastern Mediterranean and settled in West Cork. He has poems and poetry films published and forthcoming in Ireland and elsewhere. Prize-winner, and highly commended in International Haiku Competitions. Awarded the DS Arts Foundation Prize for Poetry (Scotland 2019). His collections include Falling into Place (Revival Press, 2018); Depositions (Doire Press, 2022); an illustrated edition of Depositions translated into Irish, Scots Gaelic, Welsh, and Scots. (Gloír, Gaelic Books Council, 2024). On the Edge of Invisibility is forthcoming. Anton is an UNESCO - RIELA affiliate artist at the University of Glasgow and an associate of CPI at University of St Andrews
