Mo Leabharlann Oscailte | My Open Library
My Open Library is a service where public libraries offer extended open hours, using a mix of staffed and unstaffed self-service hours.
During unstaffed hours, members who are registered My Open Library members can access the library from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm every day, including weekends. Services available during unstaffed hours include:
- returning and borrowing books
- collect reserved items
- public computers
- wi-fi
- printing, including collecting prints sent remotely
- photocopying
- study spaces
- room booking
Currently My Open Library is available in Bishopstown, Glanmire, Blackpool and Douglas Libraries. Please note that shopping centre hours may affect Douglas My Open Library hours at Christmas, New Year, and Easter. My Open Library members are encouraged to check opening hours during these times.
Please note the My Open Library service is currently suspended until further notice due to persistent and unacceptable anti-social behaviour. Cork City Libraries regret the inconvenience this will cause the many legitimate users of the My Open Library service in Douglas. This measure is taken in the interest of the safety of all users- City Librarian
